Comments: Oil on canvas, 16"x20" This is a portrait of my best friend's mother, who recently passed away from breast cancer. I only had a few days to finish it because I gave it as a gift at the funeral and it was placed on the alter. She was an extraordinary woman and was like a mother figure to me and was so supportive of me being an artist so I owed her this at least.

Hi Mallory, The portrait of your best friend's mother is my aunt. She was very close to me and still is. I love her so and miss her dearly. My mother was with her when she died as was my grandmother. I know she's with me always as with her husband and 3 daughters. Thank you for doing this for my uncle. The portrait is beyond extravagent; the detail is gorgeous! She looks exactly like her picture from her engagement photo. Thank you, again.
